Lorenzo Mattotti, who became world-famous for his intense comic albums drawn in crayon and coloured pencil, has spent over 40 years working on a series of sketchy and free ink drawings – ligne fragile. This book brings together a cross-section of what is probably the Italian’s most personal work. The publication is accompanying Mattottis retrospective “Lorenzo Mattotti. Imago” at the Cartoonmuseum Basel.
