Vincent Tuset-Anrès, co-editor and co-author of the exhibition’s accompanying publication ‘Then and There, Here and Now’, talks to artist Richard McGuire. In the publication on McGuire’s body of work, the enthralling and vital essence of an artistic development that never rests and, driven by creative curiosity, constantly opens doors for itself, is presented in a concentrated form for the first time. Tuset-Anrès, who has known the artist for a long time, will use the many internal references in McGuire’s work as anchor points for a shared journey through his oeuvre – from its beginnings to the present day.
